Welcome to MCC Tampa!
We are delighted that you are here...
Thank you for choosing to worship with us. Our prayer is that you will feel welcome and find a spiritual home with us. MCC Tampa is a house of prayer for all people. This is a place of acceptance where we encourage you to “come just as you are.” All are welcome no matter your religious background (or lack thereof), your race, gender identity, sexual orientation, family makeup, disability…anything – all are welcome at all Metropolitan Community Churches.
Every church is influenced by the congregation members involved. The people sitting near you during worship services may come from a different religious tradition than you. Still, we all worship together and celebrate the diversity God creates in us through a blended service. We are a Christian denomination who worships together in love, respecting the spiritual paths of each of our companions on the journey.

What to expect...
- Our Sunday worship begins at 10:30 AM. A typical service lasts between 90 minutes.
- We can provide a deaf interpreter upon request to translate for our guests and congregants who need this accommodation.
- Our music team starts us with an opening hymn which leads to our welcoming prayers followed by praise music selections.
- There is usually a children’s message shared with the congregation. Our Little Saints classroom are staffed with volunteers who have submitted to our state background check.
- We then share more music interspersed with the scriptural reading, pastor’s message, and a time for our people to give financially.
- Next, we consecrate communion; Eucharistic wafers are dipped in grape juice representing the bread and wine Jesus shared with his contemporaries. Our communion table is open to everyone, every week. There are no requirements or limitations. You can receive the Eucharist in prayer with your partner, family or friends.
- After the closing song, we welcome all attendees to enjoy sweets and beverages through the efforts of our hospitality team. We also welcome you to explore the programming tables and invite you to sign up and participate in any of the offerings which help your spiritual journey.
