Rev. Jakob Hero-Shaw, MDiv, MA
Senior Pastor
Rev. Jakob joined the ministry team of MCC Tampa as our Senior Pastor in September of 2015. He is a graduate of the Pacific School of Religion and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, where he earned a Master of Divinity degree, Master of Arts degree in ethics and social theory, and a Graduate Certificate in Sexuality and Religion. Rev. Jakob also holds a Graduate Diploma in Christian Theology and Spiritual Direction from St. Michael’s Theological College of Cardiff University in Wales, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from the University of South Florida. Rev. Jakob and his husband, Allan, are blessed with two wonderful children.

Rev. Craig Cranston, MDiv
Assistant Pastor
Rev. Craig joined the staff of MCC Tampa in May 2020, having previously interned at the church as a clergy candidate in 2018-2019. Graduating with honors from The Iliff School of Theology in Denver with his Master of Divinity degree, Rev. Craig comes to ordained ministry after several years as a consultant and business leader to several Fortune 200 companies. He is certified as a marriage and family facilitator through Prepare/Enrich, leads national workshops on a number of topics in both religious and secular spaces, and is a member of the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society.
