To begin planning your life event contact the church office for an appointment. This initial appointment will answer many of your questions. After you have had an opportunity to go over the materials together, we will have one or more meetings to plan your ceremony and finalize other details.
Our pastors are available for spiritual support and to officiate at services for members of MCC Tampa as well as for non-members.

Baptisms
We perform baptisms for adults or children in our sanctuary. Metropolitan Community Churches includes baptism as one of our sacraments. We make baptism available to all, members and non-members. Our belief is that every person is a child of God. Among the many meanings of baptism in the Christian faith, one of the meanings is “welcome to the family,” the human family, the family of faith.
MCC has always baptized infants, in the way that most Christian churches do, and, for those parents who are from backgrounds that do not practice infant baptism, we provide a rite of blessing, or dedication of infants. Our eclectic ecclesiology and the ecumenical nature of our denomination encourage us to be bold in our welcome and flexible in our practice.

Memorials
MCC Tampa clergy will officiate memorial services and celebrations of life in our sanctuary or at a place appropriate to honor your loved one’s memory and to accommodate family and friends.

Our Facilities
Our Sanctuary makes a beautiful setting for life events. It is designed to be flexible so that your ceremony can be designed to provide the finest surroundings. A keyboard piano is available for music, as well as a sound system for recorded music. Our sanctuary can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Our Chapel provides a smaller setting for a smaller gathering of up to 25 guests.
Our Social Hall is located opposite the sanctuary space. The sanctuary can be reset with rectangular or round tables and included as the social hall to provide a large setting for a reception. There is a dance floor and attached kitchen to provide facilities for food and entertainment space.
